Double the trouble...ear infections!

So my daughter has been fighting a cold and been running a temperature on and off for approximately two weeks. I was so worried about her that I took her to the doctor first thing on Friday morning. It turns out she has a DOUBLE ear infection! Oh no!!! Her doc says that the reason why it's been on and off is that my poor trooper has been trying to fight a losing battle. She prescribed Amoxicillin and some infant's ibuprofen. I hope she gets better soon! I have been doing a nightly routine right before bed. First, I give her a warm bath or wipe down. Then, I pour alcohol on the washcloth while it's still wet and rub her chest, back, and feet with it. After that, I dry her with a towel and finish it off with a infant vaporub on those same target areas. If her nose is stuffy, I put two drops of saline in each nostril(this helps clear the nasal passage temporarily).
