This happened a few days ago...May 19th.
I went to Wal-Mart yesterday and bought a set of 9oz bottles for Bri. She's currently drinking out of the 5oz bottles and they are just not cutting it anymore. Fast forward to today, I went to sterilize the bottles on the stove top. Hours passed and I completely forgot about the bottles. I was laying in bed, getting ready for sleep. I notice this awful smell, this burning smell and I quickly jump up. The bottles I forgot all about were melted and destroyed. I was so mad at myself. How could I forget about something so important?! And new?! I mean, I just got those bottles! But on the positive note, at least I didn't burn the house down or cause any serious problems as a result of my negligence. It's a bittersweet moment. All I can say is oops!
P.S. Bri slept through the entire ordeal.
